Isabelle Baltenweck

  • Isabelle Baltenweck is an agricultural economist based at ILRI-Nairobi. She holds economics degrees from Strasbourg University (BA) and Auvergne University, France (PhD). Her main areas of interest are the evolution of crop-livestock systems and smallholder dairy farming across the developing world. She is particularly interested in developing and applying new micro-economic quantitative tools, including ground-breaking innovations in linking geographical information systems (GIS) and econometric tools to better understand smallholder agricultural systems.
