Welcome to the Livestock and Fish virtual workshop. There is a logical flow to the sequence. The backbone of this logic is the agenda. On all pages there is a link back to the agenda with a hyperlink. This looks like this
Return to Conference Agenda
If you get lost, go back to the Conference Agenda
On the agenda, events are listed chronologically. Click on the event for the day in question, and follow the instructions on that page.
All presentations are pre-recorded. This is not a live event, for it straddles time zones from Nicaragua to Vietnam
At the end of each day, work will be done in the evening to synthesize documents and comments. To enable this, we will operate the workshop between 9:00am and 9:00pm Nairobi time. This means that Nicaragua and Colombia need to input before 13:00 each day, and Vietnam and Penang can only start after 13:00 on each day.
You will be asked to view presentations and either make comments or pose questions. Do these on the pages where you are asked to do so. You can make comments directly on the article in question, (click on Leave a Reply) or you can comment on what someone else has said (click on Reply under their comment).
In most places you can comment to your heart’s content. In two places however, we ask that you limit your comments to 2 comments only. There is a reason for this – for we want you to make choices and to prioritize on these occasions.
Please keep your comments concise and clear. Essays are not required.
At the end of each day, we will post synthesis documents and you will be reminded to read these, and will be offered links to find these.
If you get stuck, send an email to Stuart Worsley (s.worsley@cgiar.org), Bernard Hack (B.Hack@cgiar.org), Pat Rainey (P.Rainey@cgiar.org) and Esther Katingi (E.Katingi@cgiar.org). But keep this line for moments when you are really stuck.
